Our Mission

The Princeton Foundation for Elevating Equality is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to remove barriers and advocate for access and equity in mental health and healing for all BIPOC community members, LGBTQIA+ community members, and other underserved communities. We do this through funding therapy, providing education, offering advocacy, and rendering ancillary services.

The Princeton Foundation for Elevating Equality accomplishes these goals through providing direct funding to individuals to access culturally competent mental health services, providing case management, providing grassroots advocacy for marginalized populations, providing continuing education and funding to serve marginalized populations in healthcare settings, and increasing representation of professionals with lived experience as members of marginalized communities.

We are incorporated as a non-profit corporation within the State of New Jersey and intend to expand to serve other clients in the tri-state area over time. We have applied for 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, and expect to receive tax-exempt status in early 2022. Any and all contributions in advance of 501(c)(3) status go towards helping serve clients as soon as possible with obtaining the compassionate and culturally competent care they deserve.
